Lumina Euro 3.1

Model of the car:Lumina Euro 3.1
General comments:I've Had Fords, Dodge, Honda, Buick, and even a mint '83 Cadilac, but with this performance and reliability (along with my '96 Impalla SS), I'm sold on Chevy Power forever.I highly Recomend the Euro 3.1 or Z34 Lumina if you're in the market for a 90-94 used vehicle.
What things have gone wrong with the car:Brakes: Factory Disk Brakes are JUNK. This is the Luminas biggest downfall. Without proper care and maintenance, your lumina's all wheel disk brakes WILL go to hell and cost you over $1000 to fix (unless you do it your self, then it's $500) around the 70,000 - 100,000mi mark. I ripped mine out then week I purchased it and replaced them with all vented rotors and racing calipers. Before that stopping was a on again - off again kinda thing. With all-wheel disk brakes...USE your Emergency brake EVERY time you park to keep the back calipers set correctly (unless you replace them like me)Handling: Car was probably pretty tight brand new, but I needed better responce and upgraded the struts and added swaybars.Radio: Sucked..ripped that outSome minor electrical problems at 110,000mi. electrical short from altinator took out my MAP SENSOR, crank sensor and an O2 Sensor. All together cost $300 to fix. That's it, besides my own modifications and regular care, this care has cost me $300 in repair in the past four years
Previous car:Grand PriX, Concord (maybe), blows away a Taurus (besides-SHO, one of the few cars Ford got right)
