Lumina Euro
| | Model of the car: | Lumina Euro | | | General comments: | Awesome car. I'm a college student. My parents have owned this car since '92. They bought it with 8000 on the clock. I've been driving it for the last 40k or so, and right now it's got 185,500 miles and still running strong. The car is dang near bulletproof. I've put it through heck and a half on a daily basis (I work construction...I've had the thing in and out of ditches multiple times...I have to park offroad a lot out in the country). The ol' Lumina responds everytime by doing better than I could possibly expect a car of its age | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Since mine's a floor shift, there are no cupholders. Dang it! Pain in the butt since I eat on the road so much. Also, I'm currently on my 5th alternator. Don't rightly know why they like to go out, but it's pretty frequent (2 have gone in the past year and a half). Rear brakes are IMO a bad design (floating calliper, and they don't like to stay in working order all that well) | | | Previous car: | '96 Buick Park Avenue
'88 Cutlass Supreme (old style...Rear wheel drive and a V8) |
