Lumina
| | Model of the car: | Lumina | | | General comments: | it was a cool car,
I had it for two years from about 44K miles-93K miles,
mine was silver,
I would still be driving it but a month ago a guy in a ford rental van plowed into the back and the insurance people wouldn't let me keep it,
I am fine but the cops said I took quite a hit,
it got me a lot of places, I used it the last two years of college, I am 23 now,
(I had my first kiss, etc. in it)
yeah I always felt like it had more than the 140 or so rated horsepower,
either all those sports cars weren't even trying or I just burned'em,
it was definitely fast, and a great highway cruiser,
and if you aren't getting about 20city | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | none really except that torque converter clutch solenoid problem, was potentially dangerous; when the car would be warm the solenoid would lockup when it shouldn't and the car would stall on stopping or accelerating, just have to have it replaced: about $300
what is all this about cupholders,
don't drink and drive, haha, | | | Previous car: | my ownly other car was a 1987 Plymouth Reliant, it was def. pretty reliable,
I have driven other cars, I like my mother's 1995 Lumina, my friend's 1992 Maxima, Buick is cool,
someday I will get a hy |
