Lumina Euro 3.1
| | Model of the car: | Lumina Euro 3.1 | | | General comments: | I used my Lumina in the uppermost section of Michigan's Upper Penisula and it drove great in the winter, once good snow tires were put on it. The only major problem besides the wearables, was the neutral switch in the transmission. When I had this problem, the battery was replaced, then the starter, and come to find out it was a $20 switch, that had $200 of labor. Other than that I have been driving mine hard, and it has 140,000 miles and still going, gotta get me thru school. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Braking System, no cup holders, the heating system in mine doesn't seem as powerful as it should, takes a bit to defrost. Replacement parts are really expensive for all parts of the car. | | | Previous car: | 95 Neon, the Lumina is better built and still has more go than the Neon. |
