Euro 4dr
| | Model of the car: | Euro 4dr | | | General comments: | Highly recommend this car for a mid-sized family sedan. The brakes will hold up if you spend a little more for high quality pads but I still have them checked a couple of times a year. We've gone 125,000 miles with all original power train, which is truly something if you consider my driving, and exhaust. It's got good highway manners with a smooth ride and comfortable handling even in bad weather. It handles adequately in the city though I would like a little more power off the lights and a shorter stopping distance. It even looks good (good paint, not a spot of rust anywhere). The stereo is even well above average for a stock setup. I paid $12,000 in 1995. Now 113,000 miles and three children later, it is still worth a good chunk of that. This car has more than paid for itself. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | The brakes - four undersized disk (anti-stop)Wind noise uncharacteristic of large American cars | | | Previous car: | Mercury Sable - yuck.Mazda 626 turbo - sold it with the third transmission. |
