| | Model of the car: | Lumina. 2 Door. | | | General comments: | Knock on wood - I haven't had many major problems. We bought the car in 1996 with 40,000K on it and now in 2001 it just turned over to 90,000.
I sum it up to good car maintenence. When purchased it was mint with a stack of maintnece records to go with it.
The only problems we've had was 3 years ago there was a coolent leak and a hose needed replacing. Last year I had 3 breakdowns.. but it was at 85,000 miles. These included a brake caliper break, an alternator and the fuel pump went. Duh, no one ever changed the fuel filter.
I can't complain. I recently had some minor over heating problems but the thermostat was replaced and it's been fine since. So it's had it's average things going wrong. Essentially for having 90,000 miles on it - it runs great. I'm hoping to drive it for at least another 3 years.
