Z34 M5
| | Model of the car: | Z34 M5 | | | General comments: | The car is pretty fast for a V6 and handles the Canadian winters very well. My Z34 is a 5 speed with a Hypertech Street Runner power chip,160 stat, under drive pullies, 3" Flowmaster with high-flow cat, plus some other minor mods AND STILL CANNOT OUT RUN A CAMARO. I know for a fact. My 97 Z28 did 13.9 stock, and my current 98 Z28 (A4) ran 13.6stock. Either the Z34's are running nitrous or the Z28's are not wastingtheir time (unless they were V6's). But back to the Lumina. I use mineas a winter car and it is a fun car to drive. It is roomy, peppy, hand-les fairly well and does draw attention. I liked it better before I boughtthe 97 Camaro, but I do highly recommend it. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | No cupholders, costly to repair, hard to work on, change of timing belt every 75,000km, won't beat a Z28 Camaro without nitrous despite what some say (unless they can't drive their 6 speeds (see below)) | | | Previous car: | Better than most if not all cars IN THEIR CLASS (sorry - this Camaro thinghas lit a fire in me!) |
