Chevrolet Lumina
| | Model of the car: | Chevrolet Lumina | | | General comments: | I purchased my lumina 3yrs ago and never had a problem until about last month, The intake gasket went out and that was about a 630.00 repair bill but other than that she been running GREAT, when I got her she only had 66,000 miles on her, now she has 110,175.
My job as me on the road a lot and the Lumina gets outstanding gas milage ( 21 city 34 Hyw ), The interior is very spacious & well done as is the dashboard, The radio gets great reception altho you may want to replace the speckers. comfortable cruiser, trunk is big enough to fit a whole house and a bag of chips, powertrain is extremely reliable and adequately powerful.
there are some small odd things about the car such as the battery and cup holder placement, Why GM desided to put a cup holder in front of the stereo controls and the battery underneath the windshield fluid container is be-on me.
But other than that the Lumina is a very solid car.
