| | Model of the car: | Chevrolet Lumina | | | General comments: | GREAT car! I put 117,000 miles on mine in a year with nearly no problems. Cruises at 80 with flying colors. Cant stop admiring the take off and midrange punch. Currently has 276,000 miles on original engine, soon to be replaced with a '99 GTP supercharged 3.8 v6. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | CUPHOLDERS! Brakes and tires need replacing more often than most, seats go soft quickly after 12 hour drives, original fans SUCK! Replaced them with high performance units-works GREAT! Body trims keep falling off- took em off and left it for the monochromatic look. | | | Previous car: | '86 chevy celebrity 2.8 (GUTLESS but reliable), '90 Ford (UGH!) Taurus (PUKE!) BAD car! tranny replaced THREE times in 100,000 miles! |
