| | Model of the car: | Chevrolet Lumina | | | General comments: | Bought the car in 1997 with a 132,000 miles on it. Have driven it daily for over 3 years. I'm comming up on 200,000. The engine is still strong. The transmission went out at 160,000 miles. Replaced it with used trasmission with 80,000 miles. Car runs great. The seating is not the most comfertable, but the value for the price is good. I bought the car in a pinch and I can't bring myself to get rid of it.The Lumina is not the best looking or most comferteable car on the market but if you want a reasonably priced car that will last a long time with routing maintence only, this is the one.PS I'm thinking of going to 1998-2001 Intrepid.
