| | Model of the car: | Lumina LS | | | General comments: | I purchased this vehicle new with only 14 miles on it. It has been a great car from all aspects except one. In the seven years I have owned this car I have had to replace the intake gaskets twice within 14 months. The first repair was covered under the extended warranty I purchased with the car (saved me $660.00). 14 months later, exactly two months to the day out of warranty, the same problem ocurred. I had the car repaired at my expense and was advised by the dealer to open a case with GM customer service since the failure happened so close to the 12 month | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | The intake gaskets will fail if not installed properly. GM did not back there product or workmanship in my case and that says a lot for a company that was once the most respected in the world. Now they are number three, I wonder why... |
