LS 3.4 V6

 Model of the car:LS 3.4 V6
General comments:Paid $12,400 in October of 1998 for a car with 29,700 miles in excellent condition. Great car for my purposes (I am a rural physician subspecialist and travel between several rural hospitals). Plenty of power for passing on twisty 2 lane country highways. Good handling, even in wet weather, stops fairly well-certainly within the bounds of safety and good control(ABS). Seats are adequate, but I would like more and firmer padding (I am 51 years old). For my needs, I wantedc a car with god brakes, handling, and adequate power for passing farmers on their tractors, while being safe and dependable for family transportation. Thjis car hits the mark on the button. (It is not nearly as much fun to drive as my 1990 Taurus SHO was - but it is a lot more dependable)
What things have gone wrong with the car:Seats. I have the best leather seats available. They are barely acceptable, but I wouldn't want to drive over 250 miles a day in them.
Previous car:This is not the "GoKart" my Taurus SHO was - but for ist intended use of dependable highway transportation, it is excellent. NO nearly as hard on the tires as the SHO.
