Lumina
| | Model of the car: | Lumina | | | General comments: | The car has over 76,000 miles on it. I inherited it from my dad 2 years ago with 33,000. Changed the brakes front and rear, and replaced the front set of tires (with Pirellis) - that's it. It has a cheap cupholder which I broke off, and had to pay $40 to replace. It's a boring car, but has never failed me. It accelerates well, and it feels like a solid car. The rear seats don't fold down, so trips to the home improvement store can be a chore. The defroster takes a long time to clear the rear window. Overall, I am satisfied with the car. If all you are looking for is reliable transportation than I would recommend the car to you. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | weak defroster, cheap cup holders, boring to drive, no fold-down rear seats | | | Previous car: | honda accord, suzuki x-90 - both of these were more fun to drive, but I'd rather be in the Lumina in a crash |
