| | Model of the car: | Lumina | | | General comments: | we purchased ourlumina 3yrs ago and never had a problem until about 6mos. ago. The fuel intake manifold gasket went out and that was about a 400.00 repair bill(not to mention the 6 oilchanges it took after the repair.) The car now has 88,000 miles on it and the transmission has to be rebuilt. The antilock system has a problem and theres a glitch in my windshield wipers. The door moldings are loose and falling off and the visor holder ripped out of the ceiling, also both of the cup holders have broken and fallen off. Not to mention the fact we had to replace the calipers on it. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | transmissions are poorly designed and the gasket problem is quite pesky. The moldings on the inside are not made to stand up to children. The car could use a little more power. | | | Previous car: | first chevy product |
