Chevrolet Lumina LS
| | Model of the car: | Chevrolet Lumina LS | | | General comments: | I bought this car in may of 2000 before heading off to college. I was the first owner of the car and actually bought it with 425 miles on it. The dealership owned this car for 2 years and used it in their "brass-hat" fleet. Whenever a big corporate person would fly in they would be taken around town in this car. The dealer put this car on the floor and an hour and a half later was sold. Excelent deal. The LS upgrade makes the car a little more sporty adding a spoiler to the back. Living in CA, I still hope to add some tinting to the windows. I have added some pinstriping a K&N Air filter (Which I recomend everyone use. After all they are manufactured in Riverside CA :) ) This has been an absolutely wonderful car and I am very happy with the gas mileage. I drive from San Jose to Riverside, 395 miles, on a single tank of gas doing an average speed of 75 or so. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | The only thing that I have ever complained about regarding this car is the turning radius. It is very small for my liking. I drive around with friends who own little 4 bangers that can turn on a dime and my roommate owns a 92 jeep Wrangler which has the best radius. I park all the time tin parking garages and usually hae to do an adjustment to get the gar into a spot. Other than that there is nothing I could even fathom complaning about. America still builds beter cars in my mind and Iwill always support our companies over any foreign one. | | | Previous car: | 95 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon, 78 Corvette, 90 Chevy Van. |
