| | Model of the car: | Chevrolet Lumina | | | General comments: | We love this car. It has good power, good looks and is safe to drive. Unfortunately, it was just totaled in an accident. When the air bags went off, they caused over $4100 in damage. The airbags totaled the car, not body damage. Even so, we just bought a 2001. Chevrolet should not have removed this car from their lineup. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Count on big dollars if the airbags deploy. Mine deployed in a front end impact and busted thru the windshield and destroyed the instrument panel. Too much power is expended when the bags open. | | | Previous car: | None |
