Overall, it picks up speed nicely, and the soft suspension ride makes for a comfortable ride. The car handles very well, with some floating. It is deceptively quick. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Brakes: I was surprised to find that I preferred the brakes of my clunky '92 Taurus to Lumina's ABS. Lumina's brakes are weaker (long stopping distance), lack feel, generate a lot of brake dust & noise. Seats should be a lot firmer and have better ergonomics. As I recently found out, parts & maitenance can be very expensive even when a car is D | | | Previous car: | Two 1992 Tauruses (don't even ask why) - either is trash compared to this car (brakes nothwithstanding).
