| | Model of the car: | Lumina | | | General comments: | Overall not happy with this car. Purchased for real estate, traded in '94 Ford Escort. Really miss my Escort. Only have 42k miles on Lumina. Had in to dealer for clicking noise in front wheels 3 times. They gave me 3 different reasons for the noise, yet never fixed the issue. Engine is very loud. Brakes are horrible. Constant squeel in brakes, dry or wet. Trunk hinges are poorly designed - can't fit nearly as much in truck as it seems due to how low the hinges swing down.
On a more positive note, I feel very safe in the car. Most of the issues I have are with annoying noises, not so much performance. Car has nice get-up-and-go. I am fairly satisfied with the gas mileage I get for its size. Air conditioning really cools things down quick. Car is very roomy. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Loud engine.
